In case you are interested, I have started my own radio show, flowing in the same chaotic vein as HIMH. It airs Wednesdays 9:30pm-10:30pm eastern time. You can listen to it here: http://wcrd.iweb.bsu.edu/listen.htm
I post playlists afterward at artfactoryradioshow.blogspot.com
It's only been going on for a few weeks now and I have yet to get any feedback from people other than my station managers.
Keep up the amazing work on this site!
Thanks again, Angela!
Thank you for the link- I loved every song!
I looked up Bradenton, I'm jealous that you live right there on the coast, I love the ocean.
I've only been to Florida once, but I liked it. I didn't think I would, a lot of people had talked a lot of shit about it to me before I went there, but I really enjoyed my time there. Even though Hurricane Charlie hit while I was there, but then I got to see fresh hurricane destruction, which I had never seen before!
I'm glad you liked your trip here! I'm not sure why people seem to dislike Florida so much. It's such a large and varied state, I think there would be something somewhere for just about any person. Maybe it's more of a mismatch between what a person likes and which place they visit? I don't know. It's a curious thing to me.
I like living on the coast. I always have no matter where I've been. It's nice to just run down to the beach on a whim. Even if the weather's bad and you don't stay long, it's still a good stress-reliever.
Oddly, the only hurricane that has passed directly over me was when I lived in Connecticut! I've had great luck in dodging the worst storms here by just standing still. Funny how things work out.
Thank your lucky stars. Try living in Kansas.
