October 24, 2006 - Peel Sessions
All tracks tonight were from various Peel Sessions. Here's a link to the BBC website Henry mentioned, Keeping It Peel. As always, check out the official site for more info. Scroll down to the post right below this one for some extra Peel Session tracks. One more note to all you lucky Buzzcocks fans in the UK: The Buzzcocks will be doing a short 30th anniversary tour in UK only, supposedly with songs that have rarely (if ever) been played live and may not be played again. That's what the email said anyway. There's also going to be a photo/art exhibit along with the shows. Go to the Buzzcocks website for more info. I hope that comes out on cd someday for the rest of us!

Thank you for maintaining the track lists!
It's such a help when going back through the archives for specific shows rather than scrolling between web pages.
Thanks again!
again, thanks for another week. much appreciation.
Hey Angela, thanks for the hard work again and the extra tracks by yourself. I have to agree on the tracklist, much better having it here. Excellent show by henry again. Great fanatics think alike. neat neat neat.

Thanks (as always) Angela!
Angela,
I usually record the show myself, but on the odd occasional that I forget to record it, I am thankful that you've got my back... Thanks so much!

Found out about the Rollins show while searching soulseek and discovered this site through a little searching of my own. Excellent work, and Peel stuff too? Bonus! Thanks for the hard work.
Thanks, Charlie, and welcome!
For what it's worth (which isn't much) this site used to be easier to find. The official site used to have a link to us. The link was taken off when it looked like Tara, who started the archive back in 2004, was not going to be able to continue the site. I won't go into the whole story here but Tara was kind enough to hand the site over to me and help me with the transition. Thanks to her, we never dropped a show. :) I did try to let Henry know the site still here, but I don't know if he ever saw those emails. Anyway, the link never made it back on the official site. I did submit the site info to Google, but who knows how long that will take to go through or if it even will. I'm very glad to hear that someone was still able to find the archive even without the official site or a google listing.
I thought this was the best one since the misfits. Especially the Pixies and the Fugazi track. good stuff.

Hey Angela! Just been directed here by a posting on the Peel Yahoo! Group. These are an excellent listen, many thanks for providing them.
A Peel Yahoo Group? Very cool. I've got to check that out. Thanks.
