Tragedy has struck.
The recordings that are posted here are captured in real time, as broadcast, and normally the recording process is set to capture 122 minutes of the broadcast. That's one minute of padding on each end of the two hour show to compensate for jitter... slight differences in the scheduled start time versus actual start time, network delays when opening the stream, et cetera.
This episode is 122 minutes long, but at the 1:21 (minute:second) mark there is dead air until 3:10 when Henry starts. He spins my new favorite Gun Club song until 4:29 when it cuts off and starts a promo for KCRW Berlin. Then, at 5:30 Henry comes back on the air with Wire playing Lowdown. The show seems to continue uninterrupted until its' natural end but because of the missing part at the beginning that happens at the 92:32 mark.
My first thought was that my own internet connection cut out and my recording software glitched, but the KCRW Berlin site had no listing for the 9-11-2020 show at all, so I'm assuming it's an error on their end.
Unfortunately, this looks like it will be a lost show in the vein of episode 2 back in 2019.
